Abstract

The present study was performed to observe the extract of DNA from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human fetal liver tissues.
The morphological changes on the fetal liver tissue of male human were observed with light microscope by paraffin methods.
The results og observation were as follows:
1. During the process of fixation time, the morphology was not nearly changed in the shape and the number of hepatic cells compared with normal tissues.
2. Increasing the formalin fixation time decreased the amount of intact DNA available.
